2002 Toyota Highlander Road Test

7-13-2002

by Trevor Hofmann , Canadian Auto Press

The only problem I had with the Highlander was that my left knee had a tendency to rub on the protruding door panel. I found it uncomfortable and couldn't find any way to sit that would lessen the irritation.

Highlander is built at Toyota's Kyushu plant, recently given a platinum award for top automotive production facility in initial quality by J.D. Power. This quality is apparent in every aspect of the Highlander, especially fit and finish. What's more, the Highlander is as functional as it is fun, rewarding driver and passengers alike.
