2006 Honda Civic LX Road Test

2-3-2006

by Matt St-Pierre , Auto123.com

Conclusion

The Civic keeps getting better every time. Unfortunately, it keeps getting larger and heavier as well. Regardless, the Civic is still the best car in the compact segment. It will always take you where you need to go and do so without consuming too much fuel. My test returned an average of 7.0L per 100 km. Maintenance costs are very reasonable and resale values are very high. You really cannot go wrong with a Civic.

The Civic was the best selling car in Canada in 2005 and this, for the 8th straight year. The only vehicles that have outsold the Civic are the Ford F-150 and Chrysler minivans. On top of this success, the Civic has also recently been awarded North American Car of the Year at the Detroit Auto Show. Honda is on a roll.
