2007 Audi A8 L W12 Road Test

8-19-2007

by Mark Hacking , Auto123.com

Speaking of the audio system, one notable option is the Bang & Olufsen system with 6-CD changed in the trunk. The average person will be astounded at the clarity of sound coming from this system; the true audiophile will likely pass out from sheer pleasure. This system is costly ($7800), but considering it would cost about $20 large to put a comparable system in your home, it's actually a bargain.

The A8 L W12 offers everything... and then some.

In other news, the A8 L W12 also comes standard with a full-length rear-seat centre console for the rear-seat climate control system, seat adjustments (they recline!) and optional personal refrigerator (!). Rear-seat passengers also benefit from a full-on entertainment system with screens built into the back of the front-seat headrests, a six-DVD changer, individual headphones, AV and headphone jacks, and a remote control.

The Final Word
Audi is renowned for the quality of their interiors; in the A8L W12, they have really outdone themselves. In fact, with the 2007 Audi A8L W12, the manufacturer has made a strong claim for being ready to take on any luxury carmaker in the executive sedan sweepstakes.
