Ups and downs
The new Yukon and Tahoe are certainly nice. There are however some irritants that should not be. I am speaking specifically about the 3rd row of seats and the transmission. The Ford Expedition covers these two points but falls dramatically short in many other respects namely where powertrain is concerned.

Think about it, this is the small one. The larger Yukon XL is more than 20 inches (56 mm) longer.

GM has very little to do to make the Yukon and Tahoe the undeniable choices in this category and I think that if they address the aforementioned two issues, Ford will seriously have to go back to the drawing board. Another important argument in the Yukon's corner is GM's longer warranty.

2 more gears. Come on GM, you already have them lying around...
3rd row bench should disappear at the pull of two small levers
Buy some stock in Exxon or Shell, it will cost less and you'll make a profit, especially if you drive hard
