Thankfully, once you get the hang of it, the MMI (which also regulates air conditioning and ventilation) is effective and reliable on the condition that you don't fiddle with it too much.

Lastly, fans of cruise control will appreciate the Q7's adaptive cruise control, which works in stop-and-go traffic. Its radar sensors also provide assistance when parking, assessing the distance and speed of vehicles ahead of you and adjusting your speed accordingly.

Powerful, but not too powerful
While it would be easy to believe that the large Q7 is a little slow getting off its marks, it isn't. A little more zip would have been nice when setting off, but the 350 horses propel you forward nicely.

The Tiptronic gearbox coupled with the engine is quick and responsive, kicking in at the right time when decelerating. Nevertheless, it would be nice if it was even quicker when accelerating, as it sometimes tends to be jerky.

It is impossible to overlook Audi's high-performance and ultra-efficient Quattro all-wheel drive system, whose qualities are well known. It responds with a great deal of transparency and precision.

The beauty of crossovers is that they combine the best of all worlds. Although the Q7 can't quite be described as a car-like ride, because its size simply doesn't give you that feeling, and although the Q7 isn't exactly sporty, despite having the horsepower to be, the Q7 is a combination of all of the above. This will please buyers who want not only luxury, but also great versatility. In this respect, the Q7 fits the bill, and then some.
