2008 Cadillac CTS SIDI Review

3-11-2008

by Michel Deslauriers , Auto123.com

Conclusion
The Cadillac CTS is a brilliant little sedan that turns heads and that is a pleasure to drive. Its appearance is much more striking than its competition, and it offers a ton of equipment to load it up as your heart desires. It can rival the best models of its category with performance and driving dynamics that are pretty close to the Germans' offerings.

You will have to spend an extra $1,295 to get these colors: Thunder Gray, Crystal Red and White Diamond.

However, if you go nuts with the options, you'll end up with an expensive car. Here's a suggestion: get for the 304-hp engine, of course, the automatic transmission, the surround sound system, and you'll have a great CTS for $45,690.

There are still a few little things to fix, but this new little Caddy is very impressive. I smell a comparison test.

Drop-dead gorgeous
Great-looking instrument panel
Sublime powertrain

Mysterious noise in cockpit during acceleration
Tight interior space

Useless rain-sensing wipers
