2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Review

8-26-2008

And now for the vagaries of daily life. During our comparative evaluation, we concentrated more on secondary roads. The C63 handles well, but its suspension is so stiff that comfort is relative. It would have come out on top a lot easier had its suspension shown a little more flexibility. However, after a long drive on the highway and on provincial roads (A-10, 112), I changed my mind and so did my passenger. The C63 proved a comfortable, sporty highway car. So you can live with it, but you'll have to learn to accept those bumps when driving in the city or on country roads.

Built for serious drivers
If you opt for such a vehicle, make sure you take an advanced driving course, as the C63 AMG requires a certain expertise in order to get the best out of it, and especially to respect it. Mercedes-Benz offers such courses.
