In continuation of the Z06's use of light weight materials, most visible panels in the ZR1 are made of carbon fibre. The broad 285/30ZR19 front and 335/25ZR20 rear tires wrap silver (or optional chrome) wheels and aid in pushing the force of gravity, laterally. Hiding behind the rims are visibly blue six piston front and four piston rear callipers, hugging 15.5 and 15 inch carbon-ceramic rotors front and rear respectively. The sports suspension is adjustable for firmness via GM's Magnetic Selective Rode Control system; however, speed bumps must still be taken with extreme caution, given the low front skirt that helps to better manage air flow alongside the rear lip spoiler. The Corvette ZR1 will be arriving in the summer of 2008, with the few options including leather, GPS navigation, and Bluetooth technology. Although priced in the six figures, this 'Vette will no doubt continue its heritage of comparatively affordable speed. Photo Credit : General Motors
