2009 Volkswagen Passat CC 2.0T TSI Highline Review

8-7-2009

by Rob Rothwell , Auto123.com

Behind the wheel
The low-slung architecture of the Passat CC combined with its lively driving dynamics certainly convey the sports coupe “feel” despite the presence of four doors and realistic rear seating. The car provides a rewarding driving experience, which has earned it a spot on the list of cars that I enjoy driving.

The CC successfully blends its Euro personality and premium environs with performance, style and reasonable pricing. The entry tag rests at $31,975. This coin nets you the wonderful 2.0T engine and a 6-speed manual transmission along with a well-stocked cabin and plenty of occupant protection and safety equipment.

My richly appointed Highline version held an MSRP of $39,375.
