All three now feature a tire pressure monitoring system, a new integrated key fob that combines the functions of the electric luggage locking system and the proximity-activated security system, as well as new LED front turn signals. Let’s not forget their Screaming Eagle Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110 engine with keyless start and cruise control.
The 2016 model year also marks the return of the Harley-Davidson Road Glide Ultra after a two-year absence. It features a frame-mounted fairing that was created by Harley-Davidson stylists and engineers using computational fluid dynamics, as well as all of the Project RUSHMORE innovations and technology enhancements. Look for a BOOM! Box 6.5GT infotainment system with colour touchscreen, sleeker hard saddlebags, and a new Tour-Pak luggage shape that offers 4% more capacity than the previous design.
For 2016, Harley-Davidson Dark Custom models include versions of the Iron 883, Forty-Eight, Street 750, and Street 500 promising an authentic, affordable experience to a new generation of riders. The Iron 883 boasts a new leather seat, new wheels, and a new suspension. The fully redesigned Forty-Eight sports horizontal stripes on the fuel tank (a throwback to 1970s style), a comfortable seat, and new light-alloy wheels. As for the Street 750 and 500, they both get new brakes, a new brake pedal position, and two new colours (blue and red).
Finally, the 2016 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy S and Softail Slim receive a host of upgrades such as new leather saddlebags, a removable windshield, and cruise control.
