The Harley-Davidson famously ridden by Peter Fonda in the 1969 movie Easy Rider has just been auctioned off for $1.35 million USD in California.

The anonymous buyer got his hands on one of two copies made for the shooting -- and the actual one that starred during the final scene.

The chopper-style Harley-Davidson is unmistakable with a star-spangled banner flag painted on the fuel tank. Cliff Vaughs and Ben Hardy designed it according to the instructions of Fonda himself.
