BMW Presents the New 2013 HP4

Motorrad is introducing the BMW HP4, the lightest 4-cylinder sports bike in the 1000 cc class to date. Inspired by the S 1000 RR, the new HP4 turns out 193 hp, and has a dry weight of 169 kg, including its Race ABS system. The HP4 is also the first 4-cylinder bike in the HP series.

With lighter carbon parts, the HP4 is equipped with a Launch Control function which helps riders achieve maximum acceleration from a standing start. Plus, its gearshift has been improved - no interruptions means gaining precious fractions of a second on the racetrack.
BMW has yet to release the price and the launch date of this new model.
