Lewis Hamilton took an easier pole Saturday in Japan in front of the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen.

Questioning the fuel loads, reporters look suspiciously at Massa fifth place for Sunday's race. Although the engineer of the Brazilian looked disappointed by this results, they were still quite calm and in control of the situation.

Nothing is lost yet for Massa that will start the race right next to the Pole Robert Kubica.

Completing the top five behing Hamilton and Raikkonen were Finish Heikki Kovalainen on the other McLaren and Spaniard Fernando Alonso on Renault.

The deception of the session is certainly the 16th place of Nick Heidfeld on BMW-Sauber. The team apparently provided the German a wrong set of tires. He did not get passed Q1.

The Toro Rosso cars will also to be looked at Sunday as they will be starting on fifth row, Vettel leading his teammate, Frenchman Sebastien Bourdais.
