Driver Danica Patrick will be on hand for the second year to take part in the annual classic of the Daytona 24 Hours. The IndyCar star will race for Childress-Howard Motorsports.

Last year Motegi race winner will team up three-time Daytona winner Andy Wallace, Grand-Am regular Rob Finlay and NASCAR driver Casey Mears in the team's Pontiac-powered Crawford.

In her first attempt in 2006, Patrick had to retire before the half-distance because of mechanical problems.
