Italian Dindo Capello, Dane Tom Kristensen and Scot Allan McNish will form the most successful team in Le Mans history with eight wins by Kristensen alone.

Timo Bernhard (Germany), Romain Dumas (France) and Mike Rockenfeller (Germany) will form the second of three teams as newly signed Marcel Fässler (Switzerland), André Lotterer (Belgium) and Benoît Treluyer (France)will complete the 2010 alignment.

The Audi brand will be seeking for a ninth victory in the 24-hour race it has been participating to since 1999. Another victory would put the brand equal to Ferrari. Porsche would still, however, be the most victorious brand.
