Pro racer DJ Ekre (No. 52 Christian Brothers Racing/Arctic Cat) is well on his way to recovery from rib and tailbone injuries suffered several weeks ago at Eagle River. Ekre has fought injuries all season, but hopes to bounce back at Geneva, which has traditionally marked the season finale for the PowerSports Tour.

"It's been a tough season, so I'm looking to finish strong," said Ekre. "I've been rehabbing my injuries during the last few weeks, and I should be in top shape come Friday. I'm ready to go racing."

Ekre's Pro Class teammate, Snocross veteran Kurtis Crapo (No. 9 Christian Brothers Racing/Arctic Cat), has suffered from his own bad luck this season. Yet, the older of the racing Crapo brothers (his younger brother Shaun races for Sheuring Speed Sports), has the prowess and the experience to finish strong this weekend.

"Lake Geneva just has so much history in Snocross racing," said Crapo. "We always look forward to this race. It's usually warm, but there's always plenty of snow. The track is among the most exciting layouts on the Tour, and features some of the best terrain changes, jumps and rhythm sections. I can't wait to see the green flag."

Mathew Piche (No. 518 Christian Brothers Racing/Arctic Cat) has been a force in the Semi-Pro Classes. On the merit of one victory, and seven podiums, Piche currently sits fifth in Pro Open points, just 15 points out of first, and third in Pro Stock points, 20 points back. A good showing at Geneva could easily make the Detroit Lakes, Minn. native a champion in both classes.

"This has been just a great season," said Piche. "The team has consistently given me great equipment and I think that's shown on track. The Semi-Pro Classes are easily the most competitive out there, so it's going to be a great show at Geneva."

Karl Christian (No. 33 Christian Brothers Racing/Arctic Cat) has a podium to his credit this season in the Pro Veterans Class, scored two weeks ago at Canterbury. Christian is ready for action at Geneva.

"Experience is always key, and I have a lot of experience at Geneva," joked Christian. "The team has been great this year, and we're hoping for good results to finish the season."
