With that in mind, not all Americans are aware of the carmaker's improvements over the last decade. During a conversation with my brother-in-law, he mentioned that he test drove a certain 'planetary' domestic economy car and was considering buying it. When I cautioned against it, knowing that he currently drives a Honda and wouldn't be happy with this model over the long, and most likely short haul, I recommended he go drive a Hyundai Elantra.
