As for storage, the Phazer only features a single compartment mounted on the rear section of the tunnel. Don't expect to bring much luggage, as it can only contain a small bag of tools (provided by Yamaha) as well as spare belts and spark plugs. | For 2008, Yamaha offers a sportier variant of the Phazer called RTX. |
The Phazer GT is designed for those looking to experience new thrills in a sporty, active type of riding. Yet, its suspension is geared toward comfort, meaning you can't realistically ride on very bumpy trails with aggressiveness. In our opinion, the new-for-2008 RTX model, featuring Fox Float gas-charged dual front shocks and a fully-adjustable ProActive CK rear suspension with piggyback reservoir, would represent a better choice for more extreme riders.
