2008 Audi Q7 3.6 S line Review

5-3-2008

by Kevin ''Crash'' Corrigan , Auto123.com

I traveled home through drifting and blowing snow without any cause for concern whatsoever. In fact, the odd vehicle which I did come across, after making sure that they were ok, I left trailing behind. Possibly the rather precise steering, of the Q7, coupled to the vehicles weight (over 5000lbs) assisted with this. All I know is that "the vehicle returned me home in splendid order, and never once put a foot wrong".

A crossover vehicle still needs to inspire driver confidence to be a winner, and the Q7 delivers that by the bucket load!

I enjoyed my week in the Q7 immensely. In fact, I would have to say that it is one of the nicest crossover vehicles that I have ever experienced. The Q7 offers bags of room, luxurious appointments, plenty of power, and superb road holding. What's not to like about it?

However, possibly the greatest thing about the Q7, is the sense of security that it instills in the driver, and we all know this is a major reason why people like to drive SUV type vehicles.

Obviously, you can load any vehicle out with piles of safety equipment. In fact, the Q7 has just about every safety feature ever invented, but a crossover vehicle still needs to inspire driver confidence to be a winner, and the Q7 delivers that by the bucket load!
