This 135i Cabriolet starts at $47,200, and adding the Premium package ($3,600), sport seats ($800) and USB port for the radio ($350) brings the total up to $51,950. There are a few other four-seat sport-luxury convertibles out there:

It may be expensive, but all of its rivals are, too.

Aside from the bargain Eos, the 135i Cabriolet looks pretty good in this crowd, and it will blow the doors off all of them. And if you're not a speed freak, you can save a few grand by choosing the $39,900 128i, which is still plenty quick with 230 horsepower.

Conclusion
There's isn't much to complain about in the 135i Cabriolet. It's stupendously fast, good on gas, looks great and handles well. It may be expensive, but all of its rivals are, too. And one has to realize that despite the high price, the car is well-crafted; even the cigarette lighter is made in Germany.
