“Cadillac’s first-ever wagon in Canada offers new dimensions of versatility and fuel efficiency in line with the changing priorities of luxury consumers,” said Marc Comeau, vice president of sales, service and marketing for GM of Canada. “The Sport Wagon provides impressive cargo flexibility while retaining the CTS’s acclaimed balance of performance and luxury, all with highway
fuel consumption of just 7.2 L/100km.”
Direct injection (DI) technology engine is integral to the CTS Sport Wagon. It delivers impressive fuel economy and lowers emissions, while offering more power. A 3.0L DI V-6 engine with variable valve timing rated at 270 horsepower is standard and an optional 3.6L DI V-6 engine that produces 304 horsepower is also available – both paired with fuel saving six-speed automatic transmissions. Unlike many competitors that require premium fuel, both of these St. Catherines, ON produced CTS Sport Wagon engines operate on regular unleaded gas.
While essentially the same size as the acclaimed CTS sport sedan on the outside, the new Sport Wagon provides nearly twice the carrying capacity, with 720 litres (25 cubic feet) of space behind the rear seats; and 1,642 litres (58 cubic feet) with the rear seat folded.
Available features include all of the technologically advanced safety, comfort and convenience features of the well-appointed CTS Sport Sedan, including all-wheel drive, a 40-gigabyte internal hard drive and pop-up
navigation screen.
