Inspired design
The Genesis Coupe's design is striking and borrows cues from a couple of Hyundai's concept vehicles. The HCD8 concept coupe is the most influential, but the production Genesis gets the HCD9 concept's teardrop rear-quarter windows.

The rear of the coupe features fat hips and a bumper with a black diffuser that houses dual exhausts. From certain angles, it almost looks like an Infiniti G coupe. The car's profile demonstrates how the rear fenders blend into the doors, while the front end has a typical Korean styling touch, with a narrow grille opening and slanted headlights, but there's a hint of Lexus's corporate face if you observe closely.


Competition
The 2010 Genesis Coupe will rival a bunch of sports coupes ranging from the Ford Mustang, the Chevrolet Camaro, the Dodge Challenger, the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the Volvo C30, the Nissan 370Z and the Infiniti G37. The Genesis will run circles around the Tiburon.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but speculating is fun. We figure about $25,000 for the 2.0t and $33,000 for the V6.
