Despite the high performance dynamics at work here, the 335is doesn’t ride half bad, either. Enthusiasts won’t mind the stiff ride over some surfaces, especially considering the nasty things the 335is does to corners.
Exceptional
mileage, too. In fact, cruising at 120 to 130 km/h, the tester put away well under 8L / 100km.
A calm cabin
In 3-Series fashion of late, the cabin is mainly understated and almost dated where colour and contrast are concerned-- though it is nicely trimmed, upscale and calming. Staple tech goodies including navigation and
Bluetooth were on board, and a unique carbon-fibre style metallic trim broke up the dark scenery.
Complaints include limited headroom for taller passengers, limited rearward visibility and flimsy, spring-out cupholders. The iDrive command console can be somewhat overwhelming to figure out at first, too.
