Veteran Brazilian driver Rubens Barrichello collected on Sunday his first victory of the season and his first with Brawn GP when he won the Grand Prix of Europe in the streets of Valencia, Spain.

Reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton finished second for team McLaren ahead of Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari.

Barrichello took the lead of the race from Hamilton when McLaren driver pitted only to discover his crew, who took nearly 14 seconds to service the reigning world champion, was not ready with tyres.
