Current
Toro Rosso driver,
German Sebastian Vettel will get another taste of life at Red Bull's senior team at the forthcoming Jerez test.
Germany's
Auto Motor und Sport reports that the
young German, who is to replace David Coulthard at
Red Bull Racing next year, is being given the opportunity to drive the team's car essentially in order to get used to the different Renault engine and characteristics.
It will be 21-year-old Vettel's second taste of the RB4, after he stepped in for the injured David Coulthard at Barcelona earlier this year.
Red Bull's
Mark Webber was asked about his 2009 teammate in the Spa-Francorchamps paddock on Thursday.
"I will only get the real picture when we are both sitting in the 2009 car," the Australian said.
"With the slicks, new aerodynamics and KERS, so much is new that it could all be turned upside down.
"I would say that Sebastian is an experienced youngster. For his age he is doing a great job," Webber added.
