MotoGP: John Hopkins out for two races

Kawasaki's John Hopkins who crashed heavily this morning while doing a qualification lap will miss the next two races, beginning with the one this week-end in the Netherlands and the forthcoming German Grand Prix. The American was sidelined after sustaining ankle and leg fractures in a high speed crash this morning as he lost control in a corner and slammed into the barriers. Netherlands. Team boss added that there was a possibility that Hopkins could also be ruled out of his home race at Laguna Seca. No substitute has been named for the moment for the German Grand Prix.
