Buttery smooth
The suspension, comprised of a conventional fork and two shocks in back, is extremely supple and ensures a good deal of comfort. The fork bottoms out a bit on occasion, though, but it’s great at relaying the grip of the front tire. The brakes, borrowed from the GZ250 and made up of a non-floating front disc and rear drum, won’t surprise anyone, and the combination ensures adequate stopping power well-suited to the TU250’s purpose.

By coupling the GZ250’s improved frame with sporty, retro standard styling, Suzuki has created a fine looking machine. Of the GZ cruiser, only the single-cylinder mill remains, courtesy of its toughness and simplicity, and it has been spruced up with electronic fuel injection.
