slotting in between a couple of major players boasting Germanic heritage? Personally I think the Amanti guy or gal will, with head held very high, show those that value snob appeal that luxury, comfort and reliability can be obtained at a frugal price, relative to the competition.
Of course, heads held high or not, Amanti owners will need to come up with a few one liners for that inevitable reoccurring enquiry, "what is that, a Jag or Mercedes?"
