A hybrid luxury SUV, or a luxury SUV hybrid? Here's a vehicle that does everything. Part luxury car, part sport sedan and part SUV, there's room and safety for a family, all the luxury you could possibly want, all-weather confidence and even some mild off-road capability- if you needed it. For a large and athletic machine of about 4500 lbs, the mileage impresses- averaging about 10.5L / 100km in my case. That's about the same as a
Ford Escape V6 4x4, which is smaller, lighter and far less powerful.

So this might be a Hybrid that doesn't require extensive mathematics before deciding to purchase. If you want a well appointed SUV for the family with everything modern-day technology has to offer, including a hybrid system, there's nothing like it. It's almost like an
Escalade, but without the rap-video persona and aggravated environmentalists following it around.
Roomy, easy to board and exit
Great visibility
Very well equipped
Tight turning circle, easy to park
Plush, quiet ride in most situations
Very reasonable fuel economy given size and weight
Some dated and recycled controls
Hybrid system is a tough sell to many
Lacks a truly intuitive user interface with electronics
Soft suspension combine with numb steering and brakes for handling that lacks confidence
