Sporty drivingThe Infiniti G35x loves the road and constantly rewards the driver. Mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, the 3.5L V6 brilliantly meets expectations. Accelerations are strong and convincing -- 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and 80 to 120 km/h in 5 seconds. | The Infiniti G35x loves the road and constantly rewards the driver. |
I particularly liked the precise steering for cornering maneuvers and Infiniti's Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC). This stability-enhancing technology grants a certain level of freedom to the driver before stepping into play. Most of the time, you can correct your trajectory before VDC takes over. The car feels a bit light yet it reacts in predictable fashion. While road conditions prevented me from measuring stopping distances, I can assure you that the brakes are very effective. I always felt safe when passing or driving on snow-covered roads. As for fuel consumption, it's relatively high due to the extremely responsive, high-revving V6. Affordable At $46,890, my tester offered great value for an AWD-equipped premium midsize sedan. With a proven powertrain, the 2008 Infiniti G35x is really a fun car to drive.
