From Sauber press release
Peter Sauber, owner of the
BMW-Sauber Formula 1 team unveiled on Friday new management structure of his F1 team.
Sauber will be the Swiss team's trackside boss and lead director in 2010, but the 66-year-old will not have "any operational tasks" at Hinwil.
The team, still officially retaining the word 'BMW' in its title despite the departure of the German carmaker, said Austrian Monisha Kaltenborn -- formerly the legal affairs chief and member of the Board of Management since 2001 -- would be Sauber's managing director.
In her former capacity she also looked after relations with the world governing body the FIA, the rights holder FOM and the teams' association FOTA.
Thirty-six year old Alex Sauber is now responsible for the team's marketing activities. The son of team owner Peter Sauber has worked in Swiss professional football for the last two years with Neue Grasshopper Fussball AG.
Technical Director Willy Rampf (56) is responsible for the engineering side of the team, while Urs Jampen (62) returns to the post of Finance Director after 18 months away.
Jürg Flach (40) joins the Board of Management as Director Operations with overall responsibility for production. The mechanical engineering graduate has been at the company since 1999 and was previously responsible for project management.
