From GMMStewards have sent both Toyotas to the back of the Australian grand prix grid. The cars driven by Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli, who qualified sixth and eighth respectively on Saturday, were subsequently found to be running rear wings at Albert Park that were too flexible. It is also believed that Williams is protesting against allegedly flexible wings on the Red Bull and Ferrari cars. The Toyota demotion means world champion Lewis Hamilton will start the race from eighteenth on the grid, rather than last. The McLaren-driving world champion qualified fifteenth, but was to move down five further places due to an unscheduled gearbox change.
