The
Toyota Formula 1 team will race into the 2009 formula one season with an unchanged driver line-up, according to reports, therefore keeping Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock.
The Swiss newspaper
Blick says
Jarno Trulli, 33, and his new teammate Timo Glock, 26, are both to be retained beyond November's Brazilian grand prix finale.
Blick claims Trulli, who joined Toyota in late 2004, already has a contract for next year, while the Japanese team is expected to exercise its contractual option to retain German driver Glock.
"We have never had such good harmony within the team," team manager Richard Cregan is quoted as saying. "Finally both drivers are rowing in the same direction."
In the German sports magazine
Sport Bild, Glock - the reigning GP2 title winner - said he is aiming to be crowned world champion by 2010.
He said he is not frustrated that Trulli, an Italian, is currently the pacesetter at the Cologne based team.
"I have two options only: either moan about it or accept the challenge and fight," Glock said.
