It's with high emotions that Lewis Hamilton stepped on the highest stair of his National Grand Prix podium, this afternoon, at Silverstone. He is now leading the World Championship, ex-aequo with the two Ferraris' drivers.
Hamilton was joined on the podium by Nick Heidfeld (BMW-Sauber) and Rubens Barrichello (Honda). It was the first podium of the Brazilian since United States Grand Prix in... 2005!
Unfortunatly for David Coulthard, he was
unable to pass through lap 1 at his
final British Grand Prix in career.
