From GMMF1 chief executive
Bernie Ecclestone is keen to see
Sebastian Vettel switch to a top team as soon as possible.
"We will help him to achieve that," the British billionaire is quoted as saying by
Autobild Motorsport.
Vettel, 21, became formula one's youngest pole sitter and
grand prix winner in history at Monza last weekend.
He currently drives for Toro Rosso, but is set to move up to Red Bull's sister senior team in 2009.
Ecclestone said: "I have always said that he is good. Now I say he is super."
But Vettel's boss, the Red Bull magnate Dietrich Mateschitz, is not interested in letting the exciting young German out of his grasp.
"Sebastian has a contract with us," the Austrian, who is also a billionaire, told the German newspaper
Bild. "He is not for sale. With him, we want to attack the top teams and move to the top."
