Honda denies Barrichello-Andretti swap

Recent reports in the U.S. press have stated that Formula 1 most experienced driver Rubens Barrichello was considering a switch to the IRL so that IndyCar Series front-runner Marco Andretti could move up with the Honda F1 Racing team.

However, Honda F1 CEO Nick Fry has dismissed those speculations and said that he did not expect to see Barichello racing on ovals any time soon.

Marco Andretti tested for Honda at Barcelona in the winter of 2006. His grandfather Mario Andretti has gone on record as saying he wants to see Marco move to Formula 1 sooner rather than later.
