2003 Kia Sorento Road Test

1-30-2003

by Trevor Hofmann , Canadian Auto Press

But why pick on the Highlander when there are so many other SUVs in this category that the Sorento could match up against? Hey, when you're as successful as Toyota, for good reason, your vehicles become benchmarks for comparison. Of course there's an assortment of car-based SUVs that stack up well against the Highlander, but I think anyone would be hard pressed to find one that compares as favorably when put side by side with the Sorento. It's that good.

Add to that Kia's no hassle 5-year bumper-to-bumper warranty, including 5-years or 100,000 km of powertrain coverage and 5-years roadside-assistance, and the new Sorento becomes difficult to pass up in its category. But wait a minute. I forgot to mention that it's great looking too?
