Lewis Hamilton, the McLaren driver who currently leads the Formula 1 Drivers' Championship and Toyota's Timo Glock both set the fastest lap in the two free practice sessions held on the Fuji Speedway in preparation for the Grand Prix of Japan.

On a dry track this morning, Hamilton emerged in first place, beating Felipe Massa (Ferrari) et Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren).

In the afternoon, Timo Glock planted his Toyota TF108 in first place in a track owned by... Toyota! Fernando Alonso (Renault) and Hamilton ranked second and third.
