As is usually the case with cars in the same league as the Celica GT-S, sheer performance statistics don't tell the whole story. It's an extremely well built, refined sporting GT. It combines the practicality of a 2+2 with a lift back, and the gas mileage of an economy car. Also, it's built by Toyota, so you can probably trust that it won't leave you stranded at the side of the road - a less appealing character trait of some other exciting sports cars.

In summary, the Celica GT-S feels like it should cost a lot more, which should leave its owners grinning from ear to ear as they tear off down the highway. Speaking from experience, it gives a person a positive reason for waking up earlier in the morning.
