I could easily and quite blissfully live with this low-slung roadster as a primary means of transport, although some fill-in provision would be required if intending to spend the day on the slopes or haul a kayak to the water's edge. But even with its roof retracted, the C6 is capable of accommodating more toggery in its shallow, but sizeable trunk than numerous other roadsters. The Corvette's trunk also features two deep storage compartments situated behind the rear wheel wells.

of high performance wheels, and for 2005 the addition of the convertible model extended the vehicle's appeal across a much broader segment of the sports car market. The ragtop Vette is one great looking sled, roof up or down, and that can't be said for all convertibles.
In addition to looking the part, it's a serious machine, full of refinement, outrageous performance and surprising comfort. Call it a mid-life crisis car or something phallic if you wish, but don't call it disappointing. Few cars, regardless of sticker price, are capable of matching the thrill, exhilaration and youthfulness imparted by the Corvette roadster. By the way, how many gold chains are too many?
