I'll get to the ride and drive portion of this review in a minute or two, but not before detailing the Grand Vitara's fashionable décor. First, when sitting behind the wheel a tri-binnacle instrument cluster delivers a sporty appearance yet a highly legible, anti-glare functionality that was much appreciated on our long, eventful afternoon. The steering wheel is also above par, serving up a full assortment of remote audio and cruise control switches on the 9 and 3 o'clock spokes, its rim wrapped in high quality form-fitting leather that feels as solid as the rest of the vehicle.
